In order to attract visitors to the Priorat, we propose gastronomic outings for groups in Falset
The Hotel-Hostal Sport and the winery of Marçà-Falset we join forces to attract visitors to Priorat during the winter months. We launch of a new activity called "Calçots sideways".
 
For the beginning of the Calçots season, a kind of onion tipical from Catalonia, and the interest of the tourists residents in the area of Tarragona, in the restaurant of the Hotel-Hostal Sport we have prepared a Menu for groups which is paired with wine of Marça-Falset's winery . The menu consists of:
 
  • Breaded Calçots with mayonnaise and mushrooms 
  • Calçots with "romesco"
  • Grilled meat with potatoes and aioli sauce 
  • Homemade flan
  • Bread and water
 
The gastronomic offer also includes a previous visit to the winery Marça-Falset to discover one of the Cathedrals of Wine in Catalonia, designed by modernist architect César Martinell, a disciple of Gaudí. 
 
A tour of the facility where the wine is produced and vermouth to explore the architecture and curiosities of the wine that ends with a wine tasting. During the tour, you can see the artistic boots designed to mark the centenary of the winery, held in 2012, and a new exhibition space with old vintages.
 
The activity is available as long as you have finalized your reservation in advance via visita@etim.cat and groups are composed of a minimum of 15 people. For groups larger than 20, the cost of the activity is lower. The price of pack is 35 euros and includes sight, tasting and food.
