II Night of Tapas and Music in the Castle of Falset

The Fou winery of Terra Alta and Garnatxa Beer are two of the new features of the event which will take place on Friday, 9th of August, at Castle of Falset
After the success of the first edition, this summer comes again the Night of Tapas and Music at Castle of wine of Falset.
The aim is to boost summer nights in the capital of Priorat and give value to the wine, gastronomy and culture of Falset. The event has the support of PIMEC Priorat, the Falset Merchants Association and the Town hall.
This year, Hotel-Hostal Sport will participate together with the other restaurants in the group "Els 7 de Falset " (Agora bar, Ice-Cream Shop of Falset, Hostal Sport, Llesqueria Font Vella, Quinoa restaurant and Cairat restaurant) and also the Bar -Restaurant AJ.
In reference to the wineries who collaborate, this year is expected the participation of 7 producers:
- Alfredo Arribas, DOQ Priorat
- Capafons-Ossó, DOQ Priorat, DO Montsant
- Celler Joan Simó, DOQ Priorat
- Cooperativa Falset Marçà, DO Montsant
- Pascona, DO Montsant
- Wineries invited: La Fou, DO Terra Alta and Garnatxa Beer
The activity will start at 21h on Friday 9th of August and ticket price is 20 euros per person, which you can sample seven caps and 2 glasses of wine to choose between wineries attendees.
The restaurants will prepare delicious snacks and children will have sandwichs. The repertoire of dishes is:
- Courgette carpaccio with olive oil
- Cold tomato soup with egg and ham (DO Teruel) and ciboullette
- Pita stuffed with seafood with salad
- Glass Coca with tomato emulsion and "bull" of the Vilella Baixa
- Meatballs with Catalan minced
- Ice-cream
From midnight, it will serve Gin Tonics in the same square of Castle and activity will open to the public with music and bar for drinks.
The organizers expect an attendance of about 300 people. The ticket can be purchased in advance or on the day of the activity at the entrance of the Castle.
We recommend buying tickets in advance to ensure entry after the success of the first edition last year.
