Creative gastronomy at Hotel-Hostal Sport

In the restaurant of our hotel we offer snacks author, made with quality products of Priorat, designed for any type of celebration.
At Hotel-Hostal Sport we maintain the commitment to innovation culinary with different snacks served at banquets and celebrations we organized in our establishment.
The presentations, designed by renowned chef Marc Pi of Falset, blend seamlessly with the traditional cuisine of Priorat, characteristic of Hotel-Hostal Sport. Marc Pi has worked as a cook at various restaurants in prestige as Els Irreductibles, in the Priorat, or Hofmann School and Menjador de Can Ravell, in Barcelona. His cuisine is essentially Mediterranean with creative touches and innovative.
In each of the snacks, we offer products combining proximity and quality, some typical of Priorat, with innovative techniques and culinary fusions, resulting in the following dishes:
- Crunchy Snacks as chips of vegetables, "cornes"of cod, parmesan fried, rice wafers, muffins of black and green olives, and biscuits sablé of Priorat herbs and cheese.
- Cocktail's infusions as Bloody Mary with cockles, melon soup with mint, welcome broth pesto, cherry gazpacho, goat foam and margarita cube.
- And more preparations as spring salad cup, gift lettuce with anchovies and ricotta, lollipop of chorizo, quince and goat cheese, kinder eggs with potato foam, poached egg and Tòfona oil, crispy ravioli of Catalan spinachs and yogur of foie with roasted chestnuts and anchovies with tomato seeds.
This wide and varied selection of appetizers shows our interest to surprise and satisfy the palates of customers with original culinary offerings. At Hotel-Hostal Sport, innovation is one of our priorities, also applied to our gastronomy, which is the essence of the business since its founding in 1923.
To pair with these delicious snacks, in the restaurant we have a wine list with a wide selection of Catalan wines. More than 200 references worldwide, mainly from Appellations of Origin Priorat, DO Montsant and DOQ Priorat. The year 2012 the wine list was awarded by the Government with the prestigious Cartaví award.
