Workshop of researchers of political science at the Hotel-Hostal Sport

With this initiative we want to promote activities related to the academic and business to strengthen the commitment of the Priorat as a tourist destination
A total of 25 internationally renowned researchers participate from today at noon at the Hotel-Hostal Sport in a high-level workshop organized Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
The various lectures and discussions will address the latest thinking in the field of theoretical political science.
Most researchers are of North American universities as Columbia, Princeton and Nova York, but there are also specialized centers such as the London School of Economics, the Institut d'Anàlisi Econòmica or Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
From Thursday to Saturday, experts will reflect on issues related to pre-election strategies, elections or the formation of coalitions and they will combine the presentations and discussions with activities to discover the Priorat.
Are scheduled visits to several wineries in the region and dining at some restaurants Priorat, and a visit to Castell del Vi of Falset. The closing dinner is on Saturday at the Les Voltes Hall of our historic establishment.
With this activity we exemplify the potencial of the Priorat region to become a reference point for business and academic meetings, complemented with wine tourism.
In this line, the last week we participate to Buy Catalunya in Barcelona, an event organized by the Catalan Tourist Board which are listed and traded establishments and other specialized services in organizacióin meetings, conferences, conventions and incentive travel, as is the case in our Hotel.
