Les Crestes 2010, a wine to taste at Hotel-Hostal Sport

In the bar and restaurant of the Hotel-Hostal Sport you can drink now a glass of Les Crestes 2010, an expressive wine, tasty, genuine and young from the winery Mas Doix of Poboleda, of DOQ Priorat. 

Among the main features offered by this wine from Priorat, highlight the following in reference to its composition and preparation::

• Grape varieties: 15-20 years young vines of grenache (80%), old carignan (10%) and syrah (10%)..

• Alcohol content: 15%.

• Soil and vineyards: young vineyards llicorella costers 350 and 500 meters.

• Vintage: very cold winter with snow and rain, rainy spring and a cool summer with moderate temperatures. A vintage with slow ripening and healthy.A ripening excellent! A vintage very subtle, very fruity, strength and balance.  

• Aging: selection of grapes from the vineyard to the winery. Double manual selection table. Independent development grapes of each plot. Fermentation systems "submerged hat" at a controlled temperature. Aged for 10 months in barrels of French oak sophomore superfine grain. Bottled in May 2012 without fining or filtering.
