Award Cartaví 2012 to the restaurant with the best Catalan wine list

The Wine List of the restaurant of Hotel-Hostal Sport is among the 16 best wine lists in Catalonia.
Catalan Wine Association organizes annual the Cartavi award to promote the presence of Catalan wines on restaurant menus located in Catalonia and promote knowledge of the wines produced in Catalan wine regions, both to professional restoration and the sommelier and the consumer.
At Hotel-Hostal Sport we are delighted to have won the award Cartaví to the restaurant with the best wine list in the category B (18 to 40 euros) because we believe that restoration is a key sector to promote responsible wine consumption Catalan and a mainstay on the growing demand for wine tourism.
The winery of restaurant of Hotel-Hostal Sport holds more than 200 different wine from around the world with a wide range of appellations of origin in the region: the DO Montsant and Priorat DOQ. The letter harmonize most recognized wines from exceptional vintages with new discoveries of small and young developers who have a very good value.
In the province of Tarragona, along with us, have also been awarded the restaurant Can Bosh of Cambrils and La Farmacia, Vendrell. You can check the other winners in www.cartavi.cat.
Cartaví 2012 has counted in this fifth edition the collaboration of INCAVI (Department of Agriculture, Fisheries, Food and Natural Environment (DAAM) of the Catalan Association of sommeliers and eleven catalan DO.
