"12 months, 12 DOs", new cycle of wine tastings at Hotel-Hostal Sport

We started the year with new wine activities. Each month we'll discover a denomination of origen of Catalonia with wine tastings organized with the regulatory boards.
At Hotel-Hostal Sport we continue to promote wine tourism and wine culture, so we started a new cycle of tastings #tastasport2014 which will take us to do an interesting trip all over Catalonia.
Each month we discover the peculiarities of a different denomination of origin, starting on Saturday 25 of January with the DO Terra Alta.
In February we'll taste the wines of the DO Conca de Barbera and in March the DO Tarragona. Quite a wine tourism experience to know the singularities of the different Catalan DO and its superb wines.
January: DO TERRA ALTA
Marta Domenech, manager of Hotel-Hostal Sport will be responsible for introducing the activity and Mr. Jordi Rius, secretary of the DO Terra Alta, who will lead the tasting. The wines to taste are:
- Bàrbara Forès white 2013 - Barbara Forès Winery
- La Fou white 2012 - La Fou Winery
- Edetària white 2011 - Edetària Winery
- Portal black 2011 - Piñol Winery
- Domus Pensi 2008 - Altavins Winery
- Josefina Piñol mistela black 2011 - Piñol Winery
